Some Basic Advice to start with:

  • Plan ahead. Don’t leave everything to the last minute as some things are beyond your control such as the availability of examination dates. Give some time allowance for unforeseen circumstances including having to re-take the test or other commitments that you have. Test dates have limited slots and are booked on a first-come-first-serve basis. To see available IELTS examination dates in Perth, click here.
  • Like any examinations, preparation is vital if you want to achieve your targeted IELTS score. Get an assessment on what your current IELTS standard to know which area to improve on. Knowing the structure of the test is insufficient. It is crucial to prepare and equip yourself with skills and the know-how to handle tricky questions that may be the key to unlocking the extra test scores.
