Who Are The Interns?

NIT offers two pathways to access exceptional talent:

  • Experienced Australian University graduates with Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degrees; and
  • Eager Vocational students ready to launch their careers in entry-level jobs.

Both groups share a burning desire for real-world experience and are dedicated to proving their capabilities. Interns from NIT will come ready to roll up their sleeves, contribute fresh perspectives, and tackle your challenges with dedication.

How Is The Internship Unpaid?

Professional Year students must complete 32 weeks of Professional Development training, followed by 12 weeks of an unpaid internship in Australia. Completing this program will help the graduates attain migration goals as specified by the Department of Home Affairs. Additionally, our graduates come from diverse nationalities and are on a 485 graduate visa with full work rights.

Internships are not mandatory for our Vocational students. After completing NIT’s work readiness program (HYPE – Help You Prepare for Employment program), students can opt for an internship to gain meaningful work experience and skills that align with their career goals.
